Primary care approaches to address obesity, inactivity, low energy, insomnia, nutrition and stress may be inadequate, especially for the underserved. Pilot data are needed to characterize this situation from the perspective of providers and patients. This will provide the foundation for the design of participative research to develop and test systems of intervention that are effective and feasible.
